Terms & Conditions - MindOPD
These Terms govern your use of the MindOPD online/offline mental health consultation platform. By booking an appointment, creating an account, or interacting with our services, you agree to these Terms.
Effective Date: December 12, 2025
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use MindOPD.
Minors may only consult with parental/guardian supervision.
2. Nature of Platform
MindOPD is a technology facilitator, not a healthcare provider.
- Therapists are independent professionals.
- MindOPD does not supervise or control therapy or Psychiatric Consult quality.
- MindOPD is not liable for professional advice or outcomes.
3. Appointments & Bookings
- Appointment is confirmed only after payment.
- Users must join the session on time.
- Delayed arrivals beyond 10-15 minutes may be considered no-show.
- Offline OPD visits require valid ID.
4. Rescheduling Policy
You may reschedule an appointment up to 12 hours before the session.
5. Refund Policy
MindOPD follows a strict NO REFUND policy.
Refunds are only issued when:
- Therapist cancels
- Technical issues on platform
- Unforeseen failure from MindOPD
No refunds for:
- User no-show
- Late arrival
- Failure to join the session
6. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Harass, threaten, coerce, or behave inappropriately with therapists
- Request personal contact details of therapists
- Record sessions without consent
- Misuse prescriptions
- Engage in sexually inappropriate behaviour
All Professionals on platform may terminate sessions without refund if they feel unsafe.
7. All Professionals Conduct & Responsibilities
All Professionals must:
- Maintain ethical and legal standards
- Keep records and confidentiality
- Not solicit users outside the platform
- Follow telemedicine guidelines
8. Prescription Policy
Only licensed psychiatrists may prescribe medications.
They must follow Telemedicine Guidelines and may NOT prescribe:
- Schedule X drugs
- Habit-forming medications
- Certain psychotropics requiring physical evaluation
9. Emergency Disclaimer
MindOPD is not a crisis intervention service.
In crises, users must contact emergency services immediately.
10. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Abuse or harassment
- Repeated no-shows
- Policy violations
- Fraudulent chargebacks
11. Limitation of Liability
MindOPD is not liable for:
- All Professionals advice
- Misdiagnosis due to incomplete user information
- Technical failures
- Delays or cancellations
- User actions before or after sessions
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
